Neighborhood Jobs

In the story of Ruth we see God’s laws of gleaning illustrated. God had instructed His people to leave some of their extra work-and profit- for those who needed it more.

When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap to the edges of your field, nor gather the gleaning of your harvest; you are to leave them for the poor and for the stranger. I am the Lord your God. Leviticus 23:22

Neighborhood Jobs is a great application of that principle! Right now we have multiple people who could really use some odd jobs as they are trying to save for our matched savings program & rebuild their lives!

The jobs offered will be compiled on a Google Doc that will be available to view online! Whoever is willing to do the job will submit their request and contact info & the person offering the job will be able to make arrangements for them to complete the job.

We are here to help with communication & establishing good boundaries & clear expectations. We believe God will use this forum to help us truly be good neighbors.
