Revolving Door

For years, multiple churches have been going into the Cherokee County jail to minister to the inmates there. We have heard from so many volunteers as well as the women we meet in the jail that our county needs a safe place for women who want to rebuild their lives when transitioning out of jail.

We also have met women through the Pinwheel program who need a refuge for themselves & their kids because of domestic violence & others who’ve needed support during crisis pregnancies.

We are in the process now of establishing our pilot program in Andrews & we look forward to the day we will be able to open the doors of Revolving Door transitional home at Whimsy Flower Farm! These locations will be places of refuge, healing & growth.

In the meantime please keep praying for all who are ministering in the jail & community to give ladies every opportunity to walk in the way God has for them.

Revolving Door interrupts the broken cycles of abuse & trauma by:

Building relationships with people who have been incarcerated & their families, with employees of the justice system (jail, prisons & courts), and with churches & businesses willing to support people in transition.

Giving support to people who have been affected by incarceration by providing friendship, social capital, prayer, and educational materials, as well as providing for practical needs.

Providing space to grow by providing (or connecting them to) a place to live, learn, & work once they re-enter society.
