Meredith states the need for a transition home

Many of the women in jail come from abusive situations and generational addiction.

When they are released they have nowhere to go but back to where they've always been.

They need a place to get away from their old habits and learn to 'adult' better.

They need a place where they can have a support system and not be faced with temptation.

They need a place where they can be around other people who are just as broken but can lead them to the One who can heal them,

where they can learn it's the very breath of God in their lungs

and the joy and liberty and freedom that comes with giving only Him the praise.

They need a place where they can discover God is a good, good Father and they are loved by Him.

Meredith is a Garden 58 board member. She has experienced the injustice in our justice system firsthand & knows the needs of the ladies involved better than any of us. She has an uncanny knack for learning & applying knowledge & is a valuable resource of both insight & helpful facts. Meredith has already been working at Whimsy Flower Farm with Rusty & Jennifer for over a year.
